Here is a healthy, hearty, and colourful salad that is sure to brighten up your winters.


This protein-packed Moong Dal Salad is:

This salad is Great as a Packed lunch and so good for Get-togethers and Picnics!

About Me

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup diced onions
  • 1 cup diced carrots
  • 1 cup diced cucumbers
  • 1cup diced beetroot (I use steamed beetroot from the grocer)
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups Steamed Whole Moong Dal (soak the dal overnight and then cook the next morning)
  • 1 cup chopped coriander leaves
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese

Dressing:

  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 2 tsp chaat masala
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

        Directions

  • Mix everything together in a bowl and enjoy this really healthy and good looking salad all week.
  • To store: refrigerate in air tight containers
