Crispy Tofu

A crispy, protein-packed tofu that's perfect for salads, soups, or sandwiches.

About Me

Ingredients:

  • 1 block extra-firm tofu, pressed and cut into strips
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Olive oil spray
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch (optional, for extra crispiness)


Method:

  • Press the tofu to remove excess moisture. Cut the tofu into strips.
  •  In a bowl, toss the tofu strips with soy sauce and black pepper. If desired, coat the tofu in cornstarch for extra crispiness.
  •  Arrange the tofu strips on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Spray with olive oil.
  •  Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  • Store the crispy tofu in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
