Ingredients

  • ½ cup almond butter (or peanut butter)
  • ¼ cup almond meal
  • 2-3 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • ¼ cup cacao powder
  • 100 grams dark chocolate, melted

Method

  • In a large bowl, combine the almond butter, almond meal, maple syrup, and cacao powder.
  • Mix well with your hands until everything is well incorporated. The mixture will be sticky, but don't worry, it will come together easily.
  • Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 tablespoon each.
  • Dip each ball into the melted dark chocolate and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Let the chocolate harden completely in the refrigerator (about 15 minutes).
  • Store leftover energy balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week, or freeze them for longer storage.
