Ingredients

  • 4 sheets store-bought puff pastry (thawed)
  • 6 chicken sausages (can use any sausage of your choice)
  • Sesame seeds, for sprinkling (optional)

Method

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper (optional).
  • Cut each sheet of puff pastry into 3 long strips.
  • Slice the chicken sausages in half, then lengthwise (optional, depending on thickness). You should have roughly 12 sausage pieces.
  • Place one piece of sausage in the center of each pastry strip.
  • Gently roll up the pastry strips, enclosing the sausage.
  • Brush the tops of the sausage rolls with a little water or milk (optional, helps the sesame seeds stick).
  • Sprinkle with sesame seeds (optional).
  • Bake for 15 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden brown and cooked through.
  • Let cool slightly before serving.
