Ingredients

  • 500 grams chicken mince
  • 1 tbsp ghee or oil
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 1 tbsp ginger minced
  • 1 tbsp garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tbsp meat masala
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds chopped chillies (optional)
  • ¼ cup chopped coriander
  • 1 tsp butter to garnish 

Method

  • Heat a heavy bottom pan.
  • Add ghee.
  • Add the Cumin seeds once hot.
  • Once hot add the Onions and sauté till translucent-5/6 minutes.
  • Add the ginger, garlic and spices.
  • Cook for a few minutes and add the tomato paste and cook till masala cooks well.
  • Now add the chicken mince and cook on low heat. Break up the chicken lumps if any. Cover and cook for a few minutes. Add water if required.
  • Garnish with butter and chopped coriander.
  • Enjoy with a piece of buttery bread.
